Greece Adventures Part 1

Airport, Airport, Airport, and Greece

YAY!!! I don't know where to start. It was a dream -I can't believe I really went to Greece with my friends and my favorite teachers. It was the greatest experience of my life for sure. I signed up over a year ago and have been counting down the days FOREVER!

So I will just start at the beginning!! I might just post 1 day of Greece at a time.

We flew to LA Thursday morning. Then we got on our 10 hour flight to Amsterdam which I was really nervous about because I hate flying. It wasn't too bad though I slept for a good part of it. Once we were in the Amsterdam airport is when it really hit me that I was in a completely differnt country. Even though you couldn't see much from the air port It was just like WHOA! Not in Kansas anymore! Anyway so then we took a 3 hour flight to Greece! I was always sitting by at least one friend on the plane and we were so pumped.

At the Athens airport we met our group tour director, Gloria. She honestly is one of my favorite people I've ever met. I love her so much!!! I will talk about her later.

So we just went to our hotel and had dinner at the hotel (which I'll just say the food wasn't my favorite, but I'm a picky eater so..whatever. ) Our teacher assigned us our roomates, and there were 4 to a room. The rooms were smaller than even like a Motel here, and the beds were all single beds lined up literally touching each other and that pretty much was the whole room. But I thought it was fun cause it was like a slumber party. 6 of my really good friends came on the trip, and everyone else who came I still knew them and everything so no matter who I roomed with I was always with most of my friends anyway. It was a PARTAY!

We had a balcony in our room and I remember we went out there and just looked at everything around our hotel and tried to take in that we were in Greece!

See how you can see 4 beds all lined up in a pretty row.

Around our hotel there are so many stores. Like very nice high end fashion stores so it was really fun to window shop around. We also walked down to the end of the street and went out on a dock which was really fun.

I'm in a rush but when I have more time I'll continue posting all the pretty pictures!
