Bad news

I have some bad news. Well, perhaps you won't care as much as I did. But it turns out Thayne Jasperson isn't even in the plays this year at Tuacahn. I don't know what happened. The Tuacahn people told me dance director he was in them and might be able to teach us. But we had two girls from the cast teach us. It was super fun. The first day she taught us a hip hop dance, and the second day a differnt girl taught us more of a musical theatre dance. It was SOO much fun! And then we got to preform in the pre show Friday and Saturday night. It was a really good experience. And we got to go inside the high school and the dance studios.

The Little Mermaid
Amazing. The effects in this show were just so cool. I won't give to much away, but there were some scenes that really, REALLY looked under water. It was incredible what they did actually. Let's just say the did a fantastic job of creating the disney image for you to see. I reccomend seeing this show!!
p.s. Sebastian is a freaking rock star. He was just beyond good.

Grease
Ah Grease. This show was just fun to watch. It was really energetic and you never got bored watching it. I really enjoyed all the actors in this show, and the songs were great. The dancing in this show was good. I have to say "Greased Lightning" was a really cool number.I also reccomend seeing this show!!! Loved it.

I leave tomorrow morning. That would probably be a very good idea. Somehow I've managed to think of other stuff to do for three hours. Ladies and gentlemen....world's best procrastinator!!! ANNIE COWDEN.

Thayne Jasperson (Jen-this post is for you)

I'm freaking out!! When I go to Tuachan this weekend for Tuachan and we will be taking dance workshops, my teacher said we will probably have Thayne as a teacher!!! HOLY CRAP. He is the most amazing dancer ever. And he's a fantastic singer too. If any of you saw Footloose at Tuachan, he played Ren. He was also in Cats and Tarzan. He will be in Grease and Little Mermaid too. I hate to get my hopes but he might be teaching my dance workshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strawberries

I just thought I'd let all of you know that I have a deep love for strawberries. They are the best tasting thing that exists on this planet. LOOOOOOVE em'!

I kid you not. I could eat the whole bowl with no problem at all. :)

Especially For Youth

Well....everybody who told me about how amazing EFY is, they were completely right! It was the greatest week ever. You really can't explain how awesome it is. I am so glad I went.

For those of you who don't know much about it.....
You get put in a group of girls with a girl counclir. Then you get with you company which is a boy group with a boy counclir. When ever you walk to a fireside or devotional or whatever it is, you have to be escorted there. Boys and girls have to link arms. In some groups there is more girls than boys so the boy's have a girl on each arm. Or the other way around. My group at 12 girls and 12 boys.
We have classes, devotionals, testimony meeting, pizza night, game night, FHE,...just stuff like that. Great experience.


I learned SO much. Met way fun people, had AWESOME counclirs, aweome speakers, awesome teachers, awesome group, it was just fantastic. I was glad I went for the first week of summer! You just feel so happy there. On Thursday and Friday we sang this medley, which was one of my favorite parts. Send your kids there some day!!!

Summer Adventure # 1

Alright. I am off to EFY for the week. I leave tomorrow(monday) morning. I'll post about it when I get back!

Real or Prank?

DUDE! I was freaked out today! And being me I kept freaking myself out by creating the worst possible scenario. I was at dress rehearsal tonight for my dance preformance. It was at Murray High School. So I get this phone call from just a regular looking number and they were like.

"We just got an emergency hang up call from this number is there an emergancy?"

Me-"No, no I didn't, no theres not, no everythings okay, im so sorry..."

"Okay what is your location?"

"Murray High School"

Then they asked if there was any emergency people there or anything, I can't remember how he phrased it. Then I said no. Then asked for my first and last name. As soon as I hung up I felt like the BIGGEST IDIO ALIVE! Duh it was probably some creeper! Then I was scaring myself to death! So luckily one of the dance teachers there is in my neighborhood and drove me home right then. Then my next door neighbor who is in my young womens came over and I told her and so she called the number back.

PHEW! It really was the fire and police department. I just thought it was a creep because the caller id wasn't 911 or anything like that. You don't want to know the scenarios I created!
