Day 1 & 2.

*(My computer took FOREVER to upload these pictures. I have been working on this post since I got back.)

Day 1. New Jersey

My plane landed at 4:30 in New Jersey. Sara was at the airport and met me at baggage claim. We then drove to Carlo's Bakerey. (The TLC show Cake Boss bakerey!) It was raining when I got there and the line for the Bakerey was on the other side of the street, and then people working at the bakerey would come and give you a number. We waited around 15 minutes outside, and I don't know if they let so many people go inside because it was raining-or if they always do that. But we got inside and you literraly have to push through people to go look at the baked goods in the glass window case things. We waited 30 more minutes inside before our number was finally called! I got a canoli and a rainbow cake! Very tasty. :) The we went to a pizza place across the street from the bakerey which was delicious. We then went to there house which is surrounded by trees. You would have NO idea there is any city near by. It is so green on the way to their house. We just hung out and watched the olympics. They set up a matress for me in the toy room which was so nice!

Day 2. New York for the first time!

Driving into the city was so exciting! When I started to see New York City signs on the freeway I thought I was in a dream. I'm being serious. We went and parked in a parking garage by Central Park and started off there! I had NO idea it was so huge!! It was so cool to actually be there. It was awesome. I went on the carousel with Charlotte. (Their 3 year old.) Went to Strawberry Fields a memorial for John Lennon. Just walked through it for a while. After that we walked to the toy store FAO Schwarz and went on the Big Piano. We then walked up 5th avenue which is where all the stores such as....Prada, Gucci, Tiffany, Trump Tower....stores like that are! The thing about being in the city, is the time goes by so fast because you walk everywhere, so even if it seems like you didn't do a lot it takes a long time to go places.
