The Love Of My Life

Is Churchball.
I LOVE it. I love it I love it I love it. As most of you know my young women's is small, but we have always combined with the ward that shares my building and I love it.  We were undefeated I'm the season until the last game we lost. Went on to region. Have played 3 region games and lost 1. it's double elimination so we are still going. My team is just so competitive jut like me.

It is so brutal though!! We played on Saturday, Tuesday, and today Wednesday and I have 9 battle wounds. 4 floor burns, 2 nasty long red scratches, and 3 bruises.

We play again Thuraday tomorrow at 8:00 at 7035 South Nuttree Drive
(the same neighborhood where the Willie  walk used to be.

SO. Here is the story. This week is "Pi week" right? Cause of the date 3-14? Ya! So there have been all sorts of pi activities going on this week put on by the math club. Such as a scavenger hunt, recite the pi digits, art contest, pie eating contest, etc. So my math teacher was offering extra credit if you participated in any of the activities, and my grade is sooo awful in that class. Anyway so I decided I had to do something. So I decided to do the art contest by making up a song about pi. They said any kind of art from paintings to sculptures so I am not the best artist when it comes to drawing but I thought it would be funny to make up a song.

So I write a song about pi, and then one day after school when the math club is judging all the entries, they had be come in and play my song so they could judge it the same day. So blah blah blah I go and play it, whatever every thing is fine and I get extra credit.

Now TODAY, I just am in English and a girl says to me "Hey I liked your song!"
And I'm like....um what how did you hear it? Did my teacher show your math class it?!
She replied: No, it's on Kolt News! (Our school student news show.)
Me. WHAT. Are you freaking kidding me.

Is basically how that conversation went down. I was soooo upset. I had no idea anyone would ever see it! Like A: it was a dumb song. B: There is just a lot of things I would have done different if I knew it would be shown to everyone.

ANYWAY, my anger continued and I had math for the last class of the day. And turned out I got 1st place in the art contest! Hahaha I thought it was a little funny since I just wanted extra credit.

Countdown

I am going to Greece in 18 days! I am so excited. I'm going with the history department at my school as an education tour. We will also have a four day Greek Island Cruise. We will also stop at Turkey! We had our final planning meeting and I am stoked. There is a total of 20 students going, about 6 parents and 2 teachers and they seriously happen to be like my two favortie teachers. The one teacher who is heading the tour was my World Civ teacher last year and was my FAVORITE. She was the reason I wanted to come to school. The other teacher is coming is the student government advisor so I had her last year as a class officer. 6 of my friends are going to so it's pretty awesome!!
