Things to Do in an Elevator

This list cracks me up. Some of these things I was laughing my head off. :) Hope you enjoy them!

1.Congratulate all for being in the same lift with you.

2.Make race car noises when anyone gets on or off.

3.Whistle the first seven notes of "It's a Small World" over and over agian.

4.Shave.

5. Crack open you briefcase or purse, and while peeking inside ask: "Got enough air in there?" (my personal favorite!)

6. Offer name tags to everyone getting on the elevator. Wear yours upside-down.

7.Stand silent and motionless in the corner, facing the wall, without getting off.

8.Lean over to another passenger and whisper "Noogie patrol coming!"

9. Greet everyone getting on the elevator with a warm handshake and ask them to call you Admiral.

10. Do Tai Chi excercies.

11. Stare, grinning at another passenger for a while, and then announce. "I've got new socks on!"

12. When about 8 people have boarded, moan from the back: "Oh not now, motion sickness!"

13. Meow occasionally.

14.Wear a puppet on your hand and talk to the other passengers "through" it.

15. Start a sing-along.

16. When the elevator is silent, look around and ask "is that your beeper?"

17. Say "Ding!" at each floor.

18.Bring a chair along.

19. Stare at your thumb and say "I think it's getting larger"

20. Announce in a computer like voice. "this lift will self destruct in 5 4 3 2 ...oh here's my floor"

Hope you enjoyed this! Some of them are pretty funny. And some of them remind me of you guys. :)

Phil Jackson Shares His Thoughts on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Since Martin Luther King Jr. Day is on Monday, I though I would just do a little post about him. It seems like the last time I really learned about him or talked about him in school was in 3rd grade or so. Until today, we talked about him in English. So thats why it reminded me. We get the day off school but it's important to know why. So here's just a little 1 minute clip about him.

Tuesday!

Church ball started today! I love church ball because its not serious. My team just laughs the whole time! We won today! 28-8. Its so fun. During one quarter my team started doing "tricks". Like one girl would dribble down and do a circle than shoot behind her back. Yeah thats pretty much my game tonight! Haha pretty fun.

I auditioned for Cats so I am excited for that! I've been waiting for this for a year. I'm so excited.

My Young Womens New Beginnings is coming up, and I am really excited for that. I am excited because my young women (not my leaders) just the girls, at one point in the program we planned a surprise for the leaders. There is this song called "For Good". It is actually from the musical Wicked but I really like it. It talks about "because I knew you, I have been changed for the better" Basically is what its saying. So the youg women are coming over to practice for that. Thats all right now!

Donny Osmond

SCROLL DOWN AND READ THE STORIES
then look at pictures.

Merrill, yes I am crying.

Marie, I might not look extremely happy, but I was trying
to hold everything in. I could barely talk I was too happy. She
is SUPER NICE>

Alan-what a nice guy. He has MS. He is so nice.

I don't have a picture with Wayne
I thought I would do a post on Donny Osmond since I will be seeing him soon. You probably all know this, but just in case you don't, I am THE biggest Osmond fan ever. Bigger than people who grew up with him! Haha just kidding, but seriously I am a huge fan.
I don't even know where it started....................
I have always loved the movie Joseph and the Amaing Technicolor Dreamcoat I just watched it growing up. Then I guess one day I was watching it and I realized how good his voice was. I just love his voice. Okay so now....OSMOND SIGHTINGS

August 2007
Donny Osmond concert at the capitol theatre.

April 2008
Merrill Osmond at Hale Center theatre when her preformed
in the Civil War. I went to that show three times. Okay, you
can make fun of me I don't care.
The first time I went to the show, I was like crying when the show started. And afterward when I met him. I couldn't even talk. The second time I went,--still couldn't talk. Got his autograph in the program. 3rd time I went was LEGIT! Ok so here's the story.

It was a Monday night and my mom couldn't go because she worked, so it was just me and Jesse in the back row. I wanted to sit on the end and so did Jesse. So we compromised, I sat in the middle first, then we would switch at intermission.
LOW AND BEHOLD THIS WAS NO MISTAKE.
The guy who I am sitting next to looks slightly familliar. He is wearing a baseball hat.I keep pondering during the whole first act. Intermission comes and people get treats etc. He comes and sits back down and it hits me.
Me: "Jesse, I think that's Wayne Osmond next to me."
Jesse: "Whatever that is not him."
I look back at him as sneakily as I could.
Me: "No Jesse that has to be him, it makes perfect sense." I was confident it was him.
Duh, Annie what better opportunity to chat it up and get is AUTOGRAPH! But no, me being me I can't even get up the courage. There is like a whole 5 minutes sitting next to him when I could have talked to him. I tried, I breathed in about to ask, but I couldn't.

So the 2nd act started and I was shaking. I kept glancing at him to make sure it was him. The show ends, and audience gives a standing ovation. While the audience is clapping, the guys with the hat sitting next to me gets up and leaves. IT MUST BE HIM! He doesn't want to get people talking to him so he leaves early.

Instinct reaction: I follow right behind him.
I had to do it ok?
Jesse: Annie don't that's wierd!
Me: NOW OR NEVER!
Run down the lobby
Me: "Um, excuse me are you Wayne?'
Wayne: "yes :0"
Me: "Could I please have your autograph?"
Wayne: " of couse"
Me: "I'm a really big fan." was all I could think of to say.
And that's how I met 2 Osmonds at once.
April 2009
Marie Osmond-book signing at Costco in Orem. BAM!
While at Costco, her brother Alan Osmond just happened to be
shopping there, cause he lives in Orem. He goes Oh hi Marie!
So, I got a picture with Alan and Marie that day.
4 down 5 to go.
Alan, Marie, Merril, and Wayne Osmond CHECK.
Virl, Tom, Jay, Donny, and Jimmy.
Donny of course is at the top of my list and always has been.
And I am going to get a VIP pass when I go to Vegas so I can meet him. I don't even know I will
react. It's a moment I've been waiting for FOREVER.

This is my love for the Osmonds.

School Today

NOTHING INTERSTING! Haha I just wanted to write something. Let me think of something worth a little interest.....
Maybe I will just tell you some things I am learning.

Geometry, we are learning the geometric mean. ( I don't know what that is)
Biology, we are doing Punnet Square and genetics
Seminary is awesome.
Geography we took notes the whole period and my teacher has the most monitone voice and I don't even know what she said cause her voice is so easy to tune out.

Oh! This was kind of fun. During my 7th period, I am a TA for the 7th grade choir class. There is only 2 weeks left for the term to end, so she is taking the kids to the piano room where she has keyboards and teaching them piano. Well during this period, the special education class comes up so they can sing with the 7th graders. So me and a few kids stayed in the choir room and tried to teach them piano. I took a girl into another room, and I was so amazed. This girl doesn't talk much. So I showed her which finger was what number (thumb 1, index 2, etc.). Right hand only.

Then I opened the piano book to just "Ode to Joy" right hand only. Just real basic 3345 5432 type of stuff. I have been working with her for a few days and today she could do it all by herself.
The first day I would point to the number than her finger. Today she looks at the music and says "3" out loud to herself then plays it. It was really cool actually.

Anyway sorry to bore you with my boring day at school!
