Upcoming Performances!
I have a few end of year performances if anybody is interested to come!
This Wednesday the 28th at Cottonwood @ 7 I have my last Choir Concert! I will be singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked and I am super excited for this concert! It has fun music and for those of you have come to this one in the past, this one is where the audience votes on soloists and the winner's get a prize.
Friday May 30th at Cottonwood @ 7-my Musical Theatre class has been working on an end of year showcase of a little Broadway Review. Will be a grand old time.
June 13th and 14th- It is kind of a voice recital that my voice teacher is putting on, but this is also more of a Tribue to Broadway where I have my own song..but am in ensemble songs as well. This is at The Children's Theatre which is a coincidence but it is not being put on by them!
Contact me for any more info!

Go The Distance/Sieze The Day
NYU's Musical Theatre showcase did this number...and I love it more than anything. These two songs are MY FAVS. I would die to be in a number like this.

Warning: Vent Post
So this year has been really fun, hard, and busy while applying and auditioning for schools. I just have to express my frustration, a frustration shared by all seniors I'm sure. A lot of it is how controversial adults and supposed advisors give you, and the extreme mixed messages that are sent.
Here are just some examples of controversial advice me and my friends were discussing.
It seems you are supposed to....
do what makes you happy, don't be afraid to chase something your passionate about...and be realistic
don't go into debt....and take risks
don't let anyone tell you there's something you can't do...and listen to your parents/advisors
don't be stupid and waste your time....this is the only time in your life you can afford to take chances
The third one really bugs me. I wish they didn't contradict.
IT IS LITERALLY NOT POSSIBLE TO DO ALL OF THE ABOVE. And I'm obviously more on the dreamer, naive side but I know that and I'm okay with that. Honestly I think it is one of the worst things when someone tells you to not do something you've wanted to do your whole life. Like I don't understand how people have the nerve to tell you to do something other than what your gut tells you to do.
“He might have been naive, but he didn't care; he said he's rather die with his heart on his sleeve than end up another cynic.”
― Colum McCann, Let the Great World Spin
I feel like people think I can never change my mind...like there's no turning back. Gosh maybe I will change my mind, but why can't I try doing what I want to do now...not when it's a good time. Cause the truth is there is no "good time" if you keep waiting for the right time.
I know people mean well and certainliy are just protecting and want what's best for me. Honestly... it's just that the messages couldn't be more mixed!
Well I had more but I deleted it cause I've said enough. If you would like to hear more rants just let me know...I can tell you more hahaha.

Video Contest!
I need your help to get anybody and everybody to "LIKE" this video so I can sing with Natalie Weiss! She is incredible. She is having a video contest to select who to work with when she comes to Utah because there are way too many who want to have a lesson from her of course!
So if you can share this video with anyone and just tell them to "LIKE" it, it could make a difference!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXJlTjnjaQE
Natalie recently completed a 2 1/2 year run performing multiple ensemble roles on the Les Misérables 25th anniversary tour. In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked and Natalie was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist.
She has no limits to her voice and it would be an incredible opportunity if I got to work with her!

It's Hairspray!
H A I R S P R A Y !
I am in Hairspray as you probably know, at Midvale Mainstreet Theatre. I have always wanted to do this show and am having fun with it. Lot's of fun dancing! I am Lou Ann, one of the council kids on the Corny Collins Show. It is one of the funnest shows I've done, but I've always been a fan of Hairspray. The theatre is set up with tables in front of you and you can get hot dogs nachos and that type of stuff. So it's differnt than other theatres I've done. It is located on 7711 South Main St. Midvale.
Below are all of the dates of the preformances. It starts in two weeks on January 23, and goes to Febuary 8th. If you know when you can go it would be a good idea to get your tickets online now, as it may be sold out if you get them at the door.
Get your tickets here, or click below on the dates to buy your tickets for that date!
