Opinions
Have you ever met anyone who is expecting a baby, but when people ask what they are going to name it they don't tell anyone. They do that because they get tired of people groaning at the name they say, or suggest a "better" one. This can be the same with your home. If you are just starting out in a new home, or even making over a room in your house don't do something just because someone said you should. It's great to get advice from people, espcially if you asked for it. But when it comes down to it, YOU are the one who is living there, not your friend. So say thanks and do what you want. Thats the advice for the day. :)

It's hard because you have an idea of what you want, and you don't want it to be cheesy, but it really does have to be your own style.
ReplyDeleteAnnie - This happened all the time when I would tell people that we were naming our baby Tate. I prefer not to tell people. One lady told me she hated the name and gave me different names we should name him (like Hank or Dewey). Or people would say that the only problem with his name was that he was going to be nicknamed Tater Tot. Yeah, he is and we love it. People are extremely nosey. What if I named my baby Poopy Head? How would that affect them? I just don't get it.
